Dey Street Village was recently purchased and has been under new management since mid January 2006. Dey Street Village is a student accommodation facility catering for both international and domestic students. We are capable of accommodating approximately 300 residents on our 5 acres of mature park-like land.

We have a range of accommodation types from single through to double rooms with two large lounge areas with Sky TV to relax in.

The Management team is headed by Lorna Powell who is directly responsible for all aspects of the facility and takes pride in the wonderful supportive relationship built between the residents and management.

The management team are focussed on continually improving the facilities and the types of activities and general environment for all residents. This is a shared responsibility where residents are welcome to make suggestions and help with the smooth running of the facility. We look on Dey Street Village as an international community with all the normal conventions of any society and this includes residents and management all being accountable for creating a well structured living place that will allow you, as a student to concentrate on your main focus - your studies.

We have students living here from all corners of the world and who are studying at places like Waikato University, Waikato Institute of Technology (WINTEC), Sir George Seymour National College of Tourism and Travel and many others. (All links open in a new window)
